Artem kolosiuk Novograd-Volynsky

Hello! I am Will Smith. I’m from the USA. I was in the town of Novograd-Volynsky. It’s a very nice town. And I want to tell you about this town. Novograd-Volynsky is neither big nor small. This town is in Zhytomyr region. This town is in the north of Ukraine. Novograd-Volynsky is not far from Zhytomyr, only 89 km. Many roads are crossed in this town. You can get directly to Zhytomyr, Rivne, Kyiv, Warsaw, Khmelnytsky, Luts’k. Novograd-Volynsky is about 750 years old. The ancient name of this town was Zvyahel. The population of this town is 57 thousand people. The nature in the town is very and very picturesque. Around Novograd-Volynsky it is very beautiful. There are many woods, flowers and green grass. In this town there are monuments to Lesya Ukrainka, to Lenin. There are 12 schools and 1 college. But my favourite school that I saw was school number 11 because the pupils of this school are very nice children. The main street is Lenin street. The people of this town like sport. They play football, basketball, volleyball, handball and athletics. I like this town very much and I want Novograd-Volynsky to be beautiful always.

The Things I Have Done This School Year

We have already studied for seven weeks and during these seven weeks I have already done many things. I have got many marks but I don’t like my marks because many of them were not very good. I have taken part in school English Olympiad 2002 and got the second place. This school year I also had rest days. I visited my grandparents, went to disco parties and had rest at home. There were very nice days because I met my friends, played and spoke to them. I also have done my research work. One of the things is that we made and I joined the School Club of Scientists “SCS”. It’s a very nice club because when we have our meetings we speak about school week, drink coffee and speak about our works. I have had my own scientific work. So, there are the things that I have already done this school year.

It happened in summer

This summer I was at the seaside. I was in the Crimea. I had a very good time. I learned to swim and spent a lot of time in the fresh air. Our sanatorium where we lived was near Yalta. It is a very beautiful town and many people visit it in summer. Many popular singers go to this town too. As for me I am fond of “Liube”. One day on the way to the canteen we saw a man who sold the tickets to this concert. We bought the tickets and I was very happy. On the 25th of July we went to Yalta and listened to the songs performed by Mykola Rastorguev and his group “Liube”. After the concert we bought a CD with Rastorguev’s signature on it. I think my visit to the concert made my summer holidays cool.

The Happiest Guy in Our Group

Hello, I want to tell you about the happiest guy in my group. I know some things about all my group mates, but I know Nazar better than other students, and I think that he is the happiest guy in my group. He is also my friend. We study at school from the first grade. Nazar is very clever. He loves English. And he took the second place in the town Olympiad in English. He loves playing football and Ping-Pong. We often go to the gym to play Ping-Pong. Nazar has a very good family. He loves them. He is happy because his parents love him, and they are happy when they are all together. I think that Nazar is not always happy, but like other people he sometimes has some problems at school, in his own life. But in general, I know Nazar very well and I can say that he is a happy boy.
