My name is Vitaliy Vislinsky. I am a pupil of the seventh form. I study at Novograd-Volynsky collegium. We study many subjects at school. The pupils of our collegium study many foreign languages: English, German, French, Polish. I enjoy studying Math, Sport, Art and Labor Training. But best of all I like English.

I have been learning English since the first form. In my opinion it is necessary to learn foreign languages. I learn English, because it’s useful, for example if I go to England I’ll be able to speak English too. English is used not only in England but also in other parts of the world. As for me I like to travel. But it is difficult to visit the country if you don’t know the language of this country. To get a good job I must learn English.

But the main reason I like English is our English teacher. She knows English perfectly. She teaches us to love this subject. We have learned a lot at our English lessons. Now I can speak about my family, my holidays, about English and American writers and about the books they had written, about the weather and the nature, about my friends and our friendship and many other things. Sometimes we play language games at the English lessons. It’s great! I like it very much. But I must admit that it is not an easy thing to study English. I must study regularly and not to be lazy. If you want to know English well you must read and write and speak more. And train, train and train. English by the way, is needed every day. There is another way to study English well - to look up into the dictionary every day from the morning till night. And study English with all your might. I think real success in life is impossible without speaking a foreign language.

My name is Victor Smetankin. I am a pupil of the 7-th form in school #11. I have studied English since a kindergarten when I was 5 years old. I started with ABC, poems, games and verses. Now I study at school with advanced studying of English. Speaking about school I’d like to say that some students like school, others hate it, but they all study for 10 and more years and gain knowledge and develop experience by doing different tasks. At home I try to listen to English songs, watch English films and I understand them. I must confess that when I began studying English I hated it. But then, when I decided what I was, I understood that English would be necessary for my future job. To tell the truth I want to be a programming engineer and I know that every engineer working with computer programs must know English well, because all programs are in English. "It's never too late to learn English". My mom has been learning English so far. Sometimes we speak English at home. I know that learning English is not an easy thing, it takes a lot of time and efforts. At our English lessons we learn many English words, phrases and dialogues by heart, read and translate texts, write compositions. From lesson to lesson we improve our knowledge, learn more and more English words.

I want to know English because I have always been interested in foreign countries, their cultures and peoples. I want to learn English because it is a language of such great countries like Great Britain and the USA.

I'm happy to have a very good English teacher - Tabenska Galina Nikolaevna. Every lesson is a holiday for me.
