Caroline

Hello! I’m Dasha. I’m 10 years old like Caroline - a girl from the English book - my favourite hero. Caroline is a good friend. She lives at number 11, South Street near her friends Kate & Ken. She is not tall. Her hair is yellow, it’s curly. Her eyes are small, her nose is small too. She usually wears a red T - shirt, a blue overalls, yellow socks, red shoes. Caroline has got a cat like me. It’s name is Tiger because it’s striped like a tiger. It’s 1 year old.

I know that Caroline likes to play tennis. She also likes to read books about magic. She always wants to do magic tricks. I think that in future she will be a magician.

WOODY

Hi! I’m Misha. I’m 9 years old. I study at the collegium. My favourite lesson is English. I like to read, write, play games, make up dialogues like our friends from the English book “Chatterbox”. Every year in December we have a nice holiday “Chatterbox-Fun”, at which I always take part. And now I want to tell you about my favourite hero of “Chatterbox”- Woody. He is 9 like me. He is a fair-haired boy. His eyes are big, his nose is turned-up. He wears a nice blue shirt with white flowers. He has got a watch on his arm. Woody is a plucky fellow. I’d like to be courageous as Woody is.

Captain Shadow is an attentive & courageous person. She always comes to the rescue to her little friends with the brave dog Pluto. She likes her dog. He is big & clever. I have got a dog. His name is Pluto too. It’s little & all my family likes him very much.

Glad to meet you! My name is Maryna. I like to study at school but I’m often ill. So when I read stories about magic tricks of Uncle John I always think about my diseases. I’d like to ask him to be always healthy. I know that John Jones is Kate’s uncle. He lives at number 13, West Street in a purple house. He always forgets his keys. He is a tall, thin man. He is very kind. He is bold & he’s got a very long white beard. He’s got glasses on his long nose. Uncle John wears a yellow jacket, a red shirt, grey trousers, yellow shoes. He’s got a rabbit, Snowy. It’s white like snow. It helps him with his magic tricks. John Jones has many good friends & he always helps them when they’re in trouble. I’d like to have a friend like Uncle John.

Hello! My name is Nastia. I am 10 years old. I’d like to tell about my favourite character of “Chatterbox”- Poppy. She is a nice girl. She is 10. Poppy has got long black hair. Her eyes are big, they are black too. She wears a white shirt, the blue overalls & pink shoes. Poppy has got a brother. His name is Bean. Poppy & Bean are twins & they are good friends. I like Poppy because she is a very kind girl, she always helps her friends when they are in danger. I’d like to have a sister or a friend like Poppy.
