Happy End

Marsha and Felix got married a month later after their firs meeting. Their life was OK but one day when Marsha came home she found Felix’s letter where he said he had left for another woman. (Headway Pre-Intermediate, Unit 15). The continuation of the story is as follows…

Marsha has read Felix’s letter and then she walked slowly into the kitchen. She has bought his favorite food for the dinner. She threw it in the rubbish bin.

Why did he do this to her? She remembered how happy they were in the beginning. They laughed a lot then. Marsha felt desperate. One hour later the phone rang in the flat. It was Marsha’s parents, but she didn’t answer the phone.

She started crying. After that she went out. Marsha bought Ukrainian moonshine. She came back home and started drinking. Marsha drank a lot. She tried to sleep, but she couldn’t because she still was thinking about Felix.

At that very moment Felix was drinking whisky with Anna. They were very happy. In a year Felix and Anna got married. They went to their honeymoon to Paris. Felix decided to stop in the Charles de Gaulle Hotel. He took the best hotel room. Felix tried to sleep after their travel but Anna wanted to breathe fresh air. In the lift Anna met Marsha. Marsha forgot Felix. Her love to Felix died forever. Marsha worked in that hotel as a parlor maid. They spoke a lot and soon Anna told she had a husband named Felix, and showed the picture. Marsha saw it and said Felix had been her husband. Anna knew Felix had had a wife but she didn’t know that the woman had been Marsha. Marsha and Anna made friends. One month later Felix and Anna quarreled and after that Felix went to the bar. He met Lisa. They spoke a lot, and they fell in love. Anna’s and Felucca’s marriage started to go wrong. And one night Felix told Anna, he had found another woman. Anna asked him, why Felix had done it to her. He didn’t answer and went out.

Two days later Anna and Marsha wanted to revenge. They broke the brakes in the Felix’s car, and when he was going to his job, he ran to the water and drawn. In a month girls had gone to Hawaii. They were very happy, they drank whisky and laughed.

The Happiest Guy in My Group

Hello! Today I want to present our second topic devoted to happiness and now I will tell you about the happiest guy in my group. I think all pupils in my group are very happy, but of all them, I think, the happiest guy is Andriy. Andriy is one of my closest and the most reliable friends. He lives in a flat with his mother. When his mother isn’t at home and he is alone in solitude at this period of time his best friend is his book. He likes reading very much. And I have to say he is a person you can always speak to. Andriy is a very active person. He likes playing football, basketball, tennis and other games very much. Twice a year he visits his grandparents in Lviv Region. He does it in summer and winter. I think it is the happiest period of time when he is with his grandparents. When he comes back home he always has very nice impressions. He tells me about adventures he had, new friends he met and other interesting and funny things. Our free time we spend in the gym. We take our friends and play different games. Every day he has a great mood and when you meet him you can see a nice smile on his face, that is why, I think he is the happiest guy in my group and possibly in my grade.
