Marsha and Felix got married a month later after their firs meeting. Their life was OK but one day when Marsha came home she found Felix’s letter where he said he had left for another woman. (Headway Pre-Intermediate, Unit 15). The continuation of the story is as follows…

Marsha has read Felix’s letter and then she went slowly into the kitchen.

She has bought his favorite food for dinner. She threw it in the rubbish bin. Why did he do this to her? She remembered how happy they were in the beginning. They laughed a lot then. Marsha felt desperate. One hour later the phone rang in the flat. It was Marsha’s parents, but she didn’t answer he phone.

She was very sad. Marsha loved Felix very mach. She took a valet and got out.

Marsha walked slowly along the street. She saw a pub on her way. And she decided to drop in. There was a strong smell of alcohol and only a few people were there. She ordered a bottle of whisky and started drinking. The next day she had a terrible headache. Next day Marsha didn’t remember anything. Then she saw Felix’s letter and remembered everything. Then she had her breakfast. Marsha became very angry and she decided to kill Felix and his new woman.

And she started spying. After three weeks of spying she knew all about Felix and his woman Lilly. But after few days Felix abandoned Lilly because he met a new woman. Her name was Jenny. Marsha decided to tell Jenny and Lilly the truth about Felix. And they decided to punish Felix.

They stole Felix’s car, burned his house and ‘helped’ him to lose his job. After that Jenny abandoned Felix. And he became a poor homeless man.

One month later. Somewhere in Hawaii three young ladies were drinking milkshake at the beach…

The Happiest Guy in My Group

All pupils in my group are happy. Katia is happy because she has a little sister, Artem is happy because he has a big dog, Natalka is happy because she likes studying English, but I think that Nazar is the happiest guy in my group. I’ve known Nazar since the second grade. And we are close friends. He is a very active person. He goes in for sports. Nazar likes to play football and table tennis. We often play football and table tennis in the gym. He has his younger brother Roma. His nickname is Curly. Roma is studying in the 8^th grade. They have a computer and like to play different games on it. Nazar’s father is a military man and his mother works at the plant. Nazar likes English, History, and P.E lessons very much. In school we usually speak about the last football news and about our favorite football club AC Milan, about boxing, computer games, etc. Nazar is very friendly, but not very tolerant with people who don’t agree with him. I don’t like very sad and boring people, but he isn’t such a guy. That is why he is my best friend and the happiest guy in my group.

It Happened in Summer

Hello! I want to tell you a story that happened with me in summer.

In 1999 I spend my summer holidays in the village. One day I got up and felt something nice must happen. It was the worst day in my childhood. But I didn’t guess about it.

I took a knife in the morning and tried to do something with a wooden board. And in a few minutes I cut my finger; there was a lot of blood. I had irrepressible pain, it was horrible. Soon, I tried to sleep. When I got up I had no pain and it was nice.

In the afternoon my friend and I rode our bicycles. The weather was nice and sunny. Not far from the road there was a small, but long ditch. A crazy hen ran across the road and my friend pushed me with his bicycle and I fell into the ditch. My clothes were in the mud and my arms, my hair too. It was very horrible!

My grandmother was very angry on me, but in spite of it she helped me to wash my clothes and after that I was very thankful to her. My grandmother is the best in the world, because she always helps me in bed moments or minutes. After the accident with my bicycle I didn’t ride it for about three days.
