Professions

Every profession is interesting and useful. But as a rule people choose different jobs. Men and women don’t have the same preferences. For example, men can choose job of a carpenter, a pilot, an electrician, a fireman, a body guard, an engineer. Some of these jobs are dangerous and require courage. An accountant, an airhostess, a librarian, a shop assistant, a teacher are primarily done by women. These jobs require accuracy.

Many people when they plan their career think about prestige of the job. The most prestigious jobs are a doctor, a dentist, a surgeon, a journalist, an accountant, a lawyer, a programmer, an estate agent, a businessman. These jobs are often well paid. A librarian, a baby-sitter, a cleaner are less prestigious and less paid.

The profession of a nurse is getting more and more needed. It is very noble, because a nurse helps people suffering from diseases. The nurse’s job requires responsibility, patience, loyalty, an ability to be a good speaker, good professional skills. This profession needs a qualification which you can get at the medical college.
