Президент Кипра приедет в Россию с официальным визитом до конца 2019 года, сообщил РИА Новости замглавы МИД Кипра.
По словам замминистра, он встречался с замглавы МИД РФ в рамках регулярных двусторонних консультаций 14 сентября.
«У нас была сложившаяся программа действий с учётом подготовки к визиту президента Кипра в Москву, который состоится до конца этого года», – сказал замминистра МИД Кипра.
Он добавил, что обсуждал с российским коллегой соглашения, которые будут подписаны в ходе президентского визита. Он отметил, что могут быть заключены до восьми соглашений.
«Конечно, мы рассматривали двусторонние соглашения, которые, я должен отметить, находятся на блестящем уровне. Мы также обсуждали соглашения, которые, как ожидается, будут подписаны в ходе визита президента, около семи или восьми соглашений, которые готовы к подписанию, и другие, над которыми мы работаем», – сказал он.

ROCHESTER HILLS BUSINESS LEADERS VISIT TURKEY
Rochester Hills’ Mayor arrived in Turkey Thursday after being invited to build relations between both countries and cultures.
The cross-cultural exchange is coordinated by Rochester College.
“This should be of particular interest because the eyes of the world have been on Istanbul for the past week largely centered around that topic”, he said via email.
Officials from Lawrence Technological University, Rochester College, Crittenton Hospital, Rochester’s Community School Board are also on the trip, he said.
The weeklong trip will take the local officials around to meet Turkish journalists, physicians, education officials, business leaders and government officials, according to a release.
“Additionally, I will be meeting with several local mayor later in the week and look forward to some interesting and robust discussions about policy issues”, the Mayor said. He added, “It’s interesting, but no matter where in the world you are, mayors still face the same general challenges”.
The trip will be to four cities: Istanbul, Kayseri, Izmir and Antalya.
The Mayor said the experience “will open the dialogue on future economic development”.

PUTIN'S GOA VISIT
India and Russia are likely to sign as many as 18 agreements when PM hosts President Vladimir Putin in Goa on Saturday for the 17th India-Russia annual summit meet.
Defence and nuclear cooperation will again be among the highlights of their engagement with Putin.
Putin's aide was quoted as saying in Moscow by news agencies that cooperation in nuclear energy will be one of the central themes of the engagement.
Putin himself said in an interview to an Indian news agency that Russia remained in the lead about both direct supplies of most advanced weapons and military equipment.
“Our countries actively collaborate in the military technical field”, Putin said, as he described India as Russia's especially privileged strategic partner.
India is likely to insist on strong condemnation of international terrorism at the Brics summit. «For our five countries' leaders this meeting (in Goa) will be a good opportunity to harmonise our positions on key issues on the international agenda. We are determined to cooperate in the fight against terrorism», Putin said.
Talking about nuclear cooperation, Putin said the energy sphere played an important role in Russian-Indian trade and economic cooperation and that Kudankulam is a major long-term nuclear power plant project.
The work is proceeding according to agreed schedule, said Putin. “The project is being financed by Russia. The state investment is $3.4 billion (85% of contracts signed with Russian

organizations). We have begun considering the construction at other sites in India”, he said.
INDIA, RUSSIA SIGN 16 DEALS
According to Putin, India's PM visit was very timely and would make it possible to «synchronise watches» on the main areas of cooperation between the two countries.
On the second day of his Russia visit, the Prime Minister on Thursday told Russian President Vladimir Putin that India sees the country as a reliable friend. After exchanging greetings at the start of the talks with Putin, he said India and Russia are cooperating in the international and political arenas more actively, Russian news agency TASS reported.
As part of the 16th annual India-Russia Summit which got in Moscow on Thursday, the two leaders held a one-on-one meeting before they were joined by their delegations. The two sides continued their deliberations over lunch at the Kremlin. The Prime Minister said he saw Russia as a reliable friend that had always supported India at difficult times, adding that his country aimed to continue its strategic partnership with Russia.
India and Russia on Thursday signed 16 agreements, including in areas of helicopter and nuclear reactor manufacturing. Among the signed agreements are those on railways and solar energy. President Putin said that high technology, innovation, aircraft building and pharmaceuticals are promising areas for India-Russian cooperation.
Around 19 Indian CEOs have travelled with Modi for this meeting. According to sources, around 34 business leaders from various Russian companies participated in the meeting.

Before heading for the Kremlin, the PM addressed a gathering of Friends of India and met members of the Indian community in Russia.
“I am pleased to note, and I am happy to do that, that we are consistently and confidently developing the privileged strategic partnership between India and Russia”, Putin said on his part. The Russian president noted that the bilateral relations were developing in all directions – in international politics, economy and the humanitarian area. He added that a number of issues required special attention, «especially in today's challenging economic environment».

Indian Prime Minister has arrived in Abu Dhabi on Saturday on a two-day state visit to the UAE. He is expected to

take part in the sixth World Government Summit to take place in Dubai. The summit, in which India is the Guest Country of Honor, will begin on Sunday. The UAE and India are expected to sign various agreements and a memoranda of understanding, reported Gulf News.
In an interview with the Indian Ambassador to the UAE, he said that there will be new areas of cooperation and engagements between the two countries.
The PM is expected to be meeting with the crown prince of Abu Dhabi – the deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, on Saturday evening.
Similarly, it has been reported that a banquet will be held in honor of India’s PM by the Sheikh. An agreement signing ceremony is also expected at the banquet.
On Sunday, the premier will be meeting with the vice president and prime minister of the UAE, and the ruler of Dubai.
