The U.S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, is actively seeking two petroleum engineers with oil and gas experience to join our Regional Office located in Jefferson, Louisiana. The incumbents of these positions will conduct accident/spill/poUution investigatioas of oil, gas, and sulphur activities on Federal leases in the Gulf of Mexico. These positions are directly related to safety of operations, protection of equipment, conservation of natural resources, and preservation of die environment as required by congressional laws and Federal regulations. The positions require a thorough knowledge of engineering theories, concepts, principles, and practices applicable to petroleum operations on the OCS.
