DO NOT include personal information such as age, sex, marital status, race, ethnic background and religion. Do not attach a photograph.
Educational details: the name of school you attended, dates, the certificates gained; the name of college attended, dates, subjects/courses, results of examinations, the degrees or certificates you obtained etc.
Work experience. The general rule is to start with your most current position. State month/year when you started and left each job. Provide the name and location of the firm that employed you. List your job title and describe your functions briefly.
Do not forget to include any part-time jobs you had while you were still studying as this shows a willingness to work.
Skills. List other relevant information, such as your typing and office skills or your proficiency in languages. Mention your ability to operate a computer.
Honors and Achievements. List all relevant unpaid achievements; significant awards or scholarships nor listed elsewhere; projects you have undertaken that an ability to work with others; publications, and roles in academic or professional organisations.
Referees. List three to five referees, or offer to supply the names on request. Supply names of academic, employment and professional associates-but not relatives or friends. Provide a name, title, address, and telephone number for each referee. Do not forget to ask the people concerned if you may use them as a referee.
