Mike: Let’s sit over there near the window.

M: Yes, could you show us the menu, please?

W: Certainly. Here it is. Are you ready to order?

M: Yes, we’ll have fish and chips, please.

W: Anything else?

A: Yes, please. An apple pie and a vanilla ice-cream.

W: What will you have to drink?

A: I’ll have a grapefruit juice.

M: And I’ll have a strawberry milk shake, please. How do you like fish and chips?

A: It’s great. It’s really delicious.

M: How about the juice?

A: It’s very nice too, thank you.

W: Have you decided yet, sir? May I take your order?

A: As a starter I’d have a tomato juice. Oh, no, I’ll have an onion soup.

W: OK. How about the main course, sir?

A: I’m not sure… Perhaps you can help me?

W: Oh, if I were you, sir, I’d have a steak in wine sauce. I myself like it very much. Moreover, it’s the speciality of the day (фирм. блюдо).

A: All right. I’ll have the steak.

W: What would you like with the steak, sir?

A: A salad and some mashed potatoes, please.

W: Would you like something to drink?

A: Yes. Some mineral water, please. And could I see the wine list?

W: Of course. Here it is, sir.
