Adverbs of frequency

Adverbs of Frequency go after the verb “to be” and “can” but before the main verb.

Ex. 36. Match the adverbs with the time expressions.

Ex. 39. Rewrite the sentences. Replace the phrases in italics with the adverbs of frequency.

Ex. 40. Choose one of the activities given in the baloon. Ask other students about this activity and note their answers. Then write sentences about the students that you interviewed.

Example: Eighty per cent (80%) of the students in this class sometimes go dancing.

Pupils in teams say sentences using the verbs in the list below and adverbs of frequency in Present Simple. Each correct sentence scores 1 point. Negations or questions get 2 points each if they’re correct.
