Study the difference:

I’m going to a concert this evening. (present continuous: usually for people)

The concert starts at 7.30. (present simple: for proggrammes, trains etc.

Present simple (future meaning)

When, until, as soon, before

Examples:

I’ll send you a postcard when I arrive in New York.

First conditional
