Объектный инфинитивный оборот состоит их подлежащего, сказуемого, существительного в общем падеже или местоимения в объектном, инфинитива и второстепенных членов предложения. При переводе на русский язык подлежащее и сказуемое становятся главным предложением, существительное в общем падеже или местоимение в объектном падеже становится подлежащим придаточного дополнительного предложения, а инфинитив – сказуемым. Придаточное дополнительное предложение вводится союзами «что», «чтобы», «как». Данный оборот употребляется после глаголов to want, to wish, to desire, to suppose, to expect, to consider, to assume, to believe, to observe, to watch, to note, to state и др. Местоимения в объектном падеже имеют следующие формы:

Osha's Role and Functions

The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) was passed to "assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women." Accordingly, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was created to perform the following primary functions:

• assure the safety and health of workers at the workplace, wherever that may be.

• consult with and advise employers, employees, and representative organizations the effective means of preventing occupational injuries and illnesses.

• conduct workplace inspections and investigations to determine whether employers are complying with standards.

OSHA has a key role in domestic preparedness and response activities. OSHA's mission to assure safe and healthful working conditions is a vital component in the nation's emergency response and recovery system.

The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requires employers to comply with hazard-specific safety and health standards. The employers must provide their employees with a workplace free from recognized hazards likely to cause death or serious physical harm.

The other documents - Emergency Preparedness Guides are based on presently available information, as well as current occupational safety and health provisions and standards. The mentioned Guides cannot enlarge or diminish an employer’s obligations under the OSH Act. But the procedures and practices discussed in the Guides may need to be modified when OSH Act standards are promulgated or modified.

OSHA'S Support Functions include:

1. Рrе-Planning (pre-planning activities in preparation for a catastrophic incident);

2. Response (to requests from employers or workers);

3. Recovery ("consequence management" during all aspects of the clean-up and recovery operations);

4. Re-Occupancy (allowance the employees to return to the worksite.

OSHA has many resources to help to fulfill its role during all phases of a response to a catastrophic incident. Those resources include:

• Safety and Health Expertise;

• Health Response Team / Specialized Response Teams;

• Office of Occupational Medicine;

• Exposure Monitoring/Equipment Capabilities;

• Analytical Laboratories.
