Включены тематические и контрольные тесты, идентичные тестам централизованного тестирования. Приложение содержит таблицу неправильных глаголов и глаголы с предлогами (Phrasal Verbs). Книга написана автором на основе многолетнего опыта работы.
Адресуется поступающим в вузы, будет полезна школьникам и учи- телям.

Предисловие
Пособие предназначено для учащихся 10-11 классов и учи- телей и может быть использовано на уроках и факультативных занятиях, а также для самостоятельной работы поступающих в вузы. Цель пособия — помочь выпускникам школ, лицеев и гимназий подготовиться к централизованному тестированию.
Пособие состоит из пяти частей. Первая часть содержит 23 главы, в которых дан грамматический материал, изложение которого соответствует требованиям экзаменационных тестов. Каждая глава кроме теории и правил содержит тренировочные и контрольные упражнения и тематические мини-тесты, а также ключи к ним для проверки усвоения темы.
Вторая часть посвящена сложным вопросам тестирования, к которым относятся задания на словообразование, исправление ошибок, перевод фрагментов с русского на английский язык.
Третья часть содержит пять тестов, состоящих из 100 заданий, идентичных заданиям централизованного тестирования и экзамена. Выполнение этих тестов покажет степень подготовки учащегося к экзамену, так как они включают весь материал, данный в пособии.
Четвертая часть содержит дополнительные задания по проблемным и сложным вопросам тестирования. Они факультативны, и к ним тоже даны ключи. Весь материал направлен на развитие аналитического мышления, лингвистической грамотности и расширение словарного запаса учащихся. Пятая часть содержит ответы на тренировочные упражнения и тесты.
Так как в пособии используется лексика и типичные ситуации грамматических явлений, встречающиеся в новейших английских источниках, учащиеся могут расширить свой словарный запас.
Пособие имеет два приложения. Первое не только дает три формы неправильных глаголов, но и учит учащихся легче запо-

минать их написание. Второе приложение дает наиболее встре- чающиеся глаголы с предлогами, так называемые Phrasal Verbs.
Пособие может быть полезным учителям, ведущим факультативные занятия, так как оно содержит теоретический материал, много упражнений и тестов, которые могут быть использованы при проведении промежуточного контроля, для подготовки учащихся к олимпиадам по английскому языку и централизованному тестированию. Так как все упражнения, мини-тесты и контрольные тесты имеют ключи, учащиеся могут работать самостоятельно в режиме самоконтроля и консультаций с преподавателем.
Цель пособия — качественная подготовка к выпускным и вступительным экзаменам, чем является централизованное тестирование. Оно окажется полезным всем поступающим не только в вузы Республики Беларусь, но и в вузы Украины, Российской Федерации

Stative verbs and verbs expressing actions
Глаголы, выражающие состояние, а не действие (stative), не употребляются в Continuous Tenses.
Запомните их:
I.Verbs of the senses: feel, hear, smell, taste, see, look, watch, listen, etc.

II.Verbs of feeling and emotions: like, love, dislike, hate, adore, forgive, etc.
III.Verbs of opinion: suppose, agree, realize, think, believe, consider, understand, etc.
IV. Verbs of possession: have, possess, own, belong to, etc.
V.Other verbs: want, wish, know, prefer, concern, mean, need, etc.
Некоторые из перечисленных глаголов могут употребляться в Continuous Tenses в другом значении, обозначая действие, а не состояние.

To express annoyance, our anger, irritation (раздражение) or criticism. (we don’t like it)
She has been picking up my roses (I’m angry)
We put emphasis on duration (since and for)
She has been running for half an hour.
EXERCISE 3. Use the right variant of Present Forms
1.Jack (go) to on abusiness trip to Denmark tonight.He never (visit) the country. Now he (to pack) his suitcase. He (put) the clothes but (not pack) all the necessary papers and (not call) a taxi yet. In Denmark he (see) his business partners. His plane (leave) at 10pm.

4. To express this idea we can use the USED TO or WOULD DO with the verbs of action (stative verbs are not used with

1. For an action which was in progress at a stated moment (the moment is known exactly)

4. In the introduction to a story to describe setting or the atmosphere before the main events

while, when, as, all morning, all evening, all day, all night, those days, etc.

NOTE: Used to употребляется для привычных действий или состояний в прошлом, переводится “ бывало раньше” и может быть заменено Would to c глаголами действия или Past Simple.
Be used to + noun or ingform, or Get Used to + noun or ingform переводятся на русский язык как “привыкать к чему-то” и являются синонимами выражений
“Be accustomed to” or “become accustomed to”

3. Past Perfect Continuous instead of Present Perfect Continuous in Past situations.
