Figure 2. Measured Temperature in Cologne
Figure 3: Temperature in Cologne from opened weather source
As can be seen from the graphs (figure 2), the highest temperature was recorded at locations T1 (Chlodwidplatz Tram Station) and T4 (Domplatz), which are open, unprotected spaces, the lowest temperature: at the locations number T2 (Barbarossaplatz Tram Station) and T3 (Heumarkt), both are covered by trees and surrounded by buildings. The perceived temperature at the location T6 (Park) also corresponds the zone of greenery and park, shady area.
Long-term presence in areas T2 and T3 under such temperature conditions may adversely affect their well-being. In this regard, application ‘Eco-Routes Cologne’ should take into consideration the registered microclimatic parameters when planning a route and should be capable to propose several alternatives based on a comparison of weather data.

Figure 4. Measured wind speed
In most cases, including in the research area in the city of Cologne, the impact of urban development on wind speed is reflected in an increase in the number of windless and windy (<2 m/s) days in the city and a decrease in the maximum wind speed by an average of 10-30 compared to undeveloped suburban territory. In areas with higher density buildings and within groups of buildings that form closed and semi-enclosed courtyards, the wind speed decreases by 70% or even more.
Feelings of a person depending on wind speed are described in the table 1 below.

The use of microclimatic parameters in eco-sensitive navigation applications, among which EcoRoutes is placed, has an economic advantage. Analysis of microclimatic parameters has actuality in the field of construction - at the design stage of industrial facilities and residential buildings, in designing plans for zoning and planning urban area in purpose to make a positive impact on
