Italy. The Cities.

Venice, Rome & Florence.

Contrast the romance of Venice with the liveliness of Rome and the elegance of Florence. Absolutely perfect for weekend breaks or for combining with a coastal or lake holiday, these great Italian cities are always busy, always stimulating – and always frustrating. There’s usually far too much noise, far too many people and, with the exception of Venice, far too much traffic! Whether you choose to visit them for their classical architecture, their works of art, their concerts, their operas, their fashionable shops, or simply because you want to experience a little authentic Italian cuisine in a streetside trattoria, you cannot fail to be impressed by their style, vibrancy and, whilst it sometimes needs a little seeking out, their beauty.

Those of you wanting Rome, but not its inherent hustle and bustle, may well be interested in our hotels in Fiuggi and Palo Laziale. Both are under an hour’s drive from the city whilst our most recent beach properties on the Venice Lido will allow you to combine a relaxing seaside holiday with all the sights of Venice.

Lack of space prevents us from devoting our attention to Milan but, for those wishing to visit this ‘fashion capital of the world’, we would be delighted to make reservations at the first-class Four Seasons Hotel.
