Functions and tasks of manager

The most famous are the following fourteen. 1)Division of work. Within limits, reduction of tasks a manager has can increase skill. 2)Authority. Authority is the right to give orders and enforce them with reward or penalty. 3)Discipline. Discipline is mostly a result of the ability of leadership. 4)Unity of command. Each employee should receive orders from one superior only. 5)Unity of direction. One manager and one plan for each group of activities. 6)Subordination of individual interests to general interest. 7)Remuneration of personnel. Various methods of pay-ment be suitable. 8)Centralization. Like other organisms, organizations need direction and coordination from a central nervous system. 9)Scalar chain. The scalar chain is the chain of command ranging from the top executive to the lowest ranks. 10)Order. Both equipment and people must be well chosen. 11)Equitly. 12)Stability of tenure of personnel. 13)Initiative. 14)Esprit de corps.

My future profession

My future speciality is “the Economic computer science”. Economics is the science of making choices, which is based upon the facts of our everyday life. Economists study our everyday life and the system, which affects it. To become a good specialist in economic matters and business one must know many sciences, such as business economics, finance and credits, statistics, history of economic theory and philosophy, mathematics. Computers and information systems become an integral part of successful information management of the enterprises and establishments. Training on a speciality «the Economic computer science» assumes computer science studying, and also bases of economy of manufacture and the economic theory. The future experts prosecute the subjects connected with development of manufacture, the organisation of the software of information systems for management of the information and data processing. But to become a good specialist one must work hard and get not only theoretical knowledge but also great practical skills.

Business Communication

Most of the working time at foreign- trade association is devoted to carrying on. Each worker in foreign economic sphere should know how to conduct talks. They should know the rules of etiquette concerning their behaviour. Nowadays the existing means f communication enable us to settle most business problems without personal contacts. But if you want to agree on principal matters or coordinate the terms of the contract, personal meetings are a must. One thing is quite clear: you should thoroughly get ready for the coming talks if you want them to be a success. There is another point of importance: the better you know your partner, that is his character, his likes and dislikes, the more successful the talks may be. You should thoroughly study the general characteristic of the nation. And in general you should always bear in mind business etiquette whose main principles are decency and honesty, straightforwardness and integrity, the sense of obligation and duty. A businessman should always be as good as his word, avoid deceit or cheating in money matters and fulfill at any cost obligations taken if he wants to have long-standing commercial relations with his counterparts.
