Unit 14
Read this poem
The cat and the Mouse, Close friends
The cat wore glasses
Because he was very clever
Everybody who saw him
Couldn’t forget forever
Not because of the glasses
But because of clever eyes.
The water was cold,
The mouse couldn’t swim
The cat who saved the little thing
Become her close friend.
A single cat invited a mouse
To live in his cozy house
As he was alone and sad
And did not want to do anything bad.
The mouse agreed and they become close friends.
