Introduction
This training course concerns three modules: “About Myself”, “Training” and “Travel”. The materials are developed for the first-year students of all specialties. It covers the situation connected with self-identification, training process and travel.
Learning all these communicational situations will help students to improve their every-day English step by step. Each unit is divided into 4 parts: pre-text exercises; texts, after-text exercises, additional materials.
Pre-text exercises help students to test their knowledge of the topics, to repeat lexis and to orientate them in the information.
Texts for reading, translating, discussing contain a wide range of information connected with a definite topic actual for communication while making acquaintance, travelling as well as participating in cross-cultural relations.
After-text exercises permit not only to check up the students comprehension of the text and lexis knowledge but they give them possibility to express their thoughts and their attitude to this or that problem.
Supplementary materials contain a variety of texts, dialogues, exercises and other pieces of information (tables, interviews, drawings) which can be used at choice or for advanced students only.

On learning each of the topics students should be able to communicate with some confidence on related topics: to understand the information; ask and answer questions; maintain a conversation; express a personal opinion; exchange information; take part in discussions.
The training course is provided by the vocabulary to each unit that makes the process of learning for students much easier.
