LABORATORY WORK
TEST QUESTIONNAIRE G. SHMISHEK, K. LEONHARD
According to the theory of accented personalities, there are personality traits that are not pathological in themselves, but can develop in a positive or negative direction under certain conditions. These traits are, as it were, the sharpening of certain individual properties inherent in each person. Accentuation is not a pathology, it is an extreme degree of the norm, after which psychopathy begins a personality pathology leading to a violation of adaptation and human interaction with the environment. According to Leonhard’s classification, there are ten main types of accentuations. All these groups of accentuated personalities are combined according to the principle of character accentuation or temperament accentuation. Character accentuations include: getting stuck, pedantry, demonstrativeness, excitability. Accentuations of temperament include: hyperthymic, emotive, anxiety, cycloid, dysthymic, exalted.

Hyperthymicity
People with hyperthymicity exhibit high spirits, optimism, and a readiness to engage in various activities. They are quick to switch between tasks but often fail to complete what they've begun, displaying undisciplined behavior. Prone to adventure and romance, teenagers with this trait resist authority and dislike being supervised. Their elevated mood may lead to inappropriate actions.
Jamming
This type is characterized by a tendency to fixate on negative emotions and delusional reactions. They are pedantic, vindictive, and hold onto grievances for extended periods. Obsessions commonly arise, and they may exhibit affective outbursts or aggression when overwhelmed.
Emotiveness
Highly sensitive individuals whose moods fluctuate dramatically in response to seemingly trivial triggers. Their efficiency and well-being hinge on their emotional state. They possess a subtly organized emotional sphere, capable of profound feelings and experiences. Vulnerable in love, they suffer deeply from rude treatment or relationship breakdowns.
Pedantry
People who struggle to transition between emotions and prefer order in their surroundings. They value clarity in communication and organization. During periods of melancholy, they become irritable and may exhibit aggression.
Anxiety
Individuals with a melancholic or choleric disposition and a high level of constitutional anxiety lack confidence. They underestimate their abilities and fear responsibilities, attracting trouble through constant worrying.
57
Cycloidy
Marked by sudden mood shifts, cycloids experience brief periods of good mood followed by prolonged spells of sadness. In depressed states, they resemble anxious types, quickly fatiguing and despairing. In elevated moods, they mirror hyperthymic behavior.
Demonstrativeness
Strongly self-centered individuals who crave constant attention. Often found among artists, they resort to antisocial actions if unable to distinguish themselves otherwise. They may exhibit pathological lying and dress flamboyantly to stand out.
Excitability
Prone to impulsive reactivity driven by attraction or instinct. Characterized by rudeness, boredom, anger, and a tendency to provoke conflicts, they actively participate in friction.
Density
Opposed to hyperthymic types, dense individuals experience persistent low moods, pessimism, and fatigue. They prefer solitude and quickly exhaust themselves in social interactions.
Exaltation
Lacking emotional nuance, they rapidly transition from extreme sorrow to unbounded joy. Outwardly, their behavior appears dramatic, but they are genuinely passionate about art, music, nature, and sports.

GLOSSARY
Character: a set of stable individual traits that develop and manifest in activities and interactions, shaping a person's typical behavior patterns. Character traits can harmonize or contrast, forming either coherent or contradictory characters.
Temperament: dynamic features of an individual's mental activity, largely influenced by physiological properties of the nervous system. Temperament governs the energy, intensity, and temporal aspects of behavior, affecting how individuals interact with their environment.
Personality: the integrated sum of psychological, emotional, and behavioral traits that distinguish an individual. Personality encompasses temperament, character, abilities, orientations, and habits, shaped by genetic predispositions and environmental influences.
59
Abilities: personal qualities essential for successfully engaging in specific types of activities. Abilities develop from innate aptitudes through participation in relevant tasks and are malleable, allowing for compensatory adjustments in mental functioning.
TOPIC VI. CONSCIOUSNESS
Consciousness is the highest level of mental reflection, the result of the sociohistorical formation of a person in the social conditions of labor activity with constant communication with other people. According to A.V. Petrovsky, the structure of consciousness includes:
a complex of knowledge about the world around;
distinction between the object and the subject of mental reflection;
ensuring goal-setting activities;
evaluative attitude to reality.
Due to consciousness, a person separates himself from the environment. Consciousness, in contrast to other forms of mental reflection, is a reflection of objective reality in its separation from the subject's existing relations to it (A.N. Leontiev).
The accumulation of knowledge about the surrounding world occurs with the help of individual cognitive processes (sensation, perception, memory, imagination, thinking). Besides personally gained experience, a person possesses fundamentally new forms of knowledge, which are the concentrated experience of humanity, transmitted from generation to generation with the help of language and other ways of communication. A person realizes his knowledge as different from the real world of objects; it is knowledge that is transmitted in socially developed forms of the ideal, shaped in the process of historical development of man.
According to K. Jaspers, consciousness divides the existent into subject and object and provides for any object the opportunity to be known. If the materialist K. Marx claims that being determines consciousness, then the idealist Jaspers says: "Only that which enters consciousness is being for us".
The ideal is not only an individual psychological but primarily a sociohistorical fact. Different historical epochs, different classes have their own forms of the ideal, that is, social consciousness, the presence of which makes the development of individual consciousness possible. As already mentioned, consciousness is formed and develops in the process of the historical development of man (L.S. Vygotsky, S.L. Rubinshtein, A.N. Leontiev, B.F. Lomov).
60
Revealing the sources of the development of consciousness within the framework of the study of an individual is impossible. It is the property of a social person, "consciousness exists only in society and in this regard acts as a systemic quality" (B.F Lomov). It is fundamentally important to understand the problem of the relationship between social and individual consciousness: individual consciousness is formed and develops in close connection with the public.
The individual masters the ideal form of reflection in the process of inclusion in the life of society. The consciousness of the individual is formed as a "psychological mechanism" for the inclusion of individual being in the life of society. L.S. Vygotsky constantly emphasizes that all higher mental functions are internalized into relations of a social order. It is possible to reveal the objective laws to which individual consciousness is subject only on the path of studying the development of the individual in society as a real subject of activity, communication, and cognition. Historical examples of the "children of Mowgli", fed by animals and raised outside of human society, show that a person without a social environment does not acquire any human qualities.
Public consciousness includes science, morality, law, art, ideology, and religion. A developed society creates special social institutions, the main task of which is the purposeful formation of the consciousness of individuals as a consciousness of the public. Consciousness, as a system of general knowledge of people, is transmitted from person to person primarily with the help of language, which acts as a material carrier of knowledge, a form of its existence. Through language, a person masters those meanings, ideas, and images, norms, and principles that are fixed in it and which constitute the content of consciousness. Before becoming the property of individual consciousness, the word and the content associated with it must acquire a common meaning for people who use common concepts. Language and consciousness developed simultaneously, and precisely through the joint activity of people. This is how the formation of conceptual consciousness takes place.
When speaking about individual consciousness, we define the knowledge received and accumulated in the course of the entire individual life by a specific person as the core, the basis of his consciousness. This knowledge is used in the system of specific activity of a specific person, in a specific situation of social interaction. With the accumulation of individual knowledge and experience, the sphere of human consciousness dynamically changes. A person's awareness of himself as an object of knowledge occurs later than the subject's acquaintance with the outside world and the formation of initial concepts. Self-knowledge selfconsciousness is formed on the basis of the mechanism of reflection, understood as a person's ability to self-report about the acts he experiences, the facts of
