Armenians and other communities in the historical Antioch region
The articles of the volume are researches on the local Armenians in northwestern parts of Syria: Kessab, Suwediyeh, Beylan districts and ther villages like Ghniyeh, Yakoubiyeh, Aramo and Ghnemiyeh. Local Armenians are the descendants of the ancient Armenian em igration of historical Antioch, Afamia, Laodicea and Seleucia.
The volume discusses various matters related to this Armenian population: history, ethnol ogy, dialects, beliefs, folklore and sources of the study.
The book is dedicated to historians, ethnologists, linguists and folklore researchers.
