Предисловие

Учебное пособие составлено в соответствии с программой по английскому языку для неязыковых специальностей высших учебных заведений, предназначено для студентов первого курса всех направлений подготовки сельскохозяйственного вуза квалификации «бакалавр» очной и заочной форм обучения.

Цель пособия – формирование компетенций, необходимых для практического владения разговорнобытовой речью в повседневном общении. Коммуникативная направленность учебного пособия обусловила отбор и организацию речевого материала, с помощью которого осуществляется формирование и развитие культуры мышления; способность к обобщению, анализу, восприятию информации, постановке цели и выбору путей еѐ достижения; умение логически верно, аргументировано и ясно строить устную и письменную речь; стремление к саморазвитию, готовность к изучению научно-технической информации отечественного и зарубежного опыта, что соответствует требованиям Федеральных государственных образовательных стандартов высшего профессионального образования.

Материалы учебного пособия организованы в рамках трех сфер общения:

1.Бытовая сфера общения (Биография. Мое жилище (дом, квартира). Рабочий день. Свободное время. Как ориентироваться в городе. Еда, покупки.);

2.Учебно-познавательная сфера общения (Высшее образование в России и за рубежом. Пермский сельскохозяйственный вуз. Моя учеба. Место сельского хозяйства в общей системе народного хозяйства.);

3

3. Социально-культурная сфера общения (Язык как средство межкультурного общения. Здоровье, здоровый образ жизни. Мир природы. Охрана окружающей среды. Глобальные проблемы человечества.).

Каждая тема (Unit) имеет одинаковую структуру и состоит из четырех блоков. Первый блок (Texts) нацелен на введение в тему с помощью аутентичных текстов монологического и диалогического характера, лексических упражнений, англо-русского словаря. Второй блок (Grammar) направлен на повторение и закрепление грамматического материала, формирование лексико-грамматических навыков. Третий блок (Self-Study) является основой для организации самостоятельной работы студентов в рамках изучаемой темы. Четвертый блок (Quick Check) содержит упражнения, которые позволяют студентам проверить насколько они овладели необходимыми и коммуникативно достаточными умениями для осуществления иноязычного общения.

В приложениях представлены англо-русские лексикосинтаксические конструкции, фонетический и грамматический материал, необходимый для формирования иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции студентов.
