Note! To feel is never used with any reflexive pronouns. So the Russian sentence Он чувствовал себя несчастным/смущённым, etc. should be translated into English as: He felt miserable/embarrassed, etc. To feel in such sentences is not used with the adverbs, but with the adjectives.
D. Translate into English.
Он чувствовал себя хорошо.
Мисс Марта чувствовала себя плохо.
Сначала она почувствовала разочарование.
Она чувствовала себя неловко, как будто в самом деле была виновата.
Старик чувствовал себя прекрасно, как будто снова был молодым.
