1. Characterize one of the main heroes / heroines of the book: James Dixon, Christine Callaghan, Margaret Peel, Bertrand Welch, Mr. Welch, Mr. Gore-Urquhart, Mr. Catchpole according to the scheme:

- The episode / situation, in which the reader first meets the character;

- Physical appearance of the character;

- Personality qualities and their justification (e.g. Nick was clever as he tried not to jump at conclusions and judge Gatsby by his behaviour, tended to analyze the situations (example), was independent in his opinion (example).
