II семестр
3.1. Тема 1 «Geography of the United States of America»
Цель изучения: познакомиться с особенностями географического положения страны, климата, флоры и фауны, природных ресурсов, рассмотреть границы, основные природные регионы, моря, реки и горные цепи.
Изучив данную тему студент должен:
- знать:
- административное деление государства и названия всех штатов;
- местоположение основных рек и озёр и их роль в жизни стран;
- основные регионы и их границы;
- климатические особенности США;
- природные ресурсы и основные отрасли промышленности в регионах страны;
- уметь:
- показать на географической карте основные регионы, горные цепи, реки, Великие Озёра;
- пользуясь справочной литературой, подготовить доклад об основных регионах страны и отраслях промышленности, наиболее развитых в этих регионах США.
