Text 16 production-line robots

M echanical engineering development and refining of automatic control systems ena­bled to introduce the application of production-line robots in the production process. Most of these robots are robot-manipulators. They are equipped with a mechanical hand with remote control from the remote control panel. Such robots are capable of lifting and trans­porting cargos weighing up to tens of kilos in the radius of hand operation (2 to 3 meters) performing up to 500 manipulations per hour. Robot-manipulators have great advantage over human workers in performing drone operations. Automatic robots are ore advanced and are equipped with electronic brain which directs their operations according to the spec­ified program.
