В этой формуле глагол to be изменяется по временам, лицам и числам, форма Ving несет смысловую нагрузку.
PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
Настоящее продолженное время. Обозначает действия, которые происходят в определенный момент или промежуток времени в настоящем, или действия, запланированные на будущее
