He calls the only cabs service company “Ever Ready Cabs” in the city but the number is being engaged all the time. It is impossible to call a cab. No one operator answers. In the street all cars went by Alex. The assistant Steven Spielberg call him and offers to postpone a meeting. Alex wants to speak to Mr. Spielberg directly but the mobile phone battery is low that is why he failed to interview him.

During production, directors supervise the creative aspects of the film (for example, the camera and sound terms’ work). In short, they make sure the written film script is rendered effectively onto the screen.

During post-production, she/ he works closely with editors in selecting shots and editing. A good director needs to have a

wide creative vision to produce an original and involving film. She/he has to make quick decisions and needs to have the makings of an assertive, but very communicative leader, ready to delegate and believe in team work.

Interviewer: Hello and welcome to Theatre Time. Today Ann Marshall is with us from London University. She’s an expert on the history of the theatre and she is going to talk to us about superstitions. 1) ______________________

Ann: Yes, it is. There are lots of different superstitions, particularly for actors working in the theatre. For example, if an actress gets some flowers, she can wear them before or after the performance but it’s very unlucky to wear them on stage. Actors shouldn’t take a mirror on stage, either. Actors think that Shakespeare’s play Macbeth is unlucky, too.
