The data can either be data that you’ve collected while using the GPS outdoors or data that you’ve created using applications for uploading to your GPS before you set off on your journey. You looked at two applications that you can use to download the data, examine it, edit it, and upload it to your GPS. You also looked at how you can create new data for upload. These applications also give you the capability to download the data from your GPS for storage on your PC, enabling you to free the memory on your GPS for more data collection.
