1 Цели и задачи учебной дисциплины

Процессы интеграции мирового сообщества, новые политические, социальные и культурные реалии, расширение международных научных и экономических контактов позволяют сегодня рассматривать иностранный язык как неотъемлемый атрибут квалификационной характеристики специалиста. В связи с активным развитием международных контактов и острой нехваткой специалистов, способных осуществлять прямые контакты с иностранными партнерами, иностранный язык становится востребованным прежде всего как средство профессиональной коммуникации. Заметно повысился статус и престиж иностранного языка в качестве общеобразовательной дисциплины. Иностранный язык сегодня – это активный инструмент межкультурного общения.

Общетеоретическая база, принципы и подходы к определению содержания обучения иностранному языку исходят из единой методологии и дидактических позиций. Программа строится на основе принципов коммуникативного, профессионально-ориентированного и социокультурного развития личности в процессе обучения.

Целью данного курса является коммуникативное и социокультурное развитие личности, способной использовать иностранный язык как средство профессионального общения в диалоге культур: родной и иностранной.

Задачи курса:

•Формирование коммуникативной компетенции, т.е. практическое владение иностранным языком в деловой сфере;

•Свободное и инициативное речевое взаимодействие обучаемых в типичных ситуациях делового и межличностного общения;

•Чтение, понимание, развитие речевых навыков, творческой интерпретации; комментирование, реферирование и аннотирование оригинальных источников по специальности;

•Выработка профессионального умения обобщать, систематизировать материал, выделять главное, делать выводы, анализировать;

•Умение понимать на слух иностранную речь в рамках специальности. В числе эффективных педагогических технологий рекомендуется использовать:

•технологии проблемно-модульного обучения,

•технологии учебно-исследовательской деятельности,

•проектные технологии,

•коммуникативные технологии (дискуссия, пресс-конференция, мозговой штурм, учебные дебаты и другие активные формы и методы),

•метод кейсов (анализ ситуации),
