I. The supplier and the customer are discussing the amount of work to be carried out by the supplier's designing organizations. Tell the customer what main stages and time limits preparation of a DPR usually involves. Ask him if a feasibility study has been made of the construction area.
The supplier and the customer are discussing the extension of the lime limits as the customer has delayed submission of the remaining initial data. As the initial data available (main sources of supply of raw materials, water, heat, fuel, gas and electric energy) require more detailed and updated information make it clear that the design work will not begin until receipt by the supplier of all the particulars listed in the Protocol (on completion of collecting the initial data).
The supplier and the customer are considering a new site for construction. It is rather far from the one previously agreed. They are discussing the amount of work to be carried out by the supplier: sending another team of the supplier's experts to collect initial data, specifying particulars with regard to initial data (e. g. topography, geology, transport links, power and water supply, etc.) they are expected to collect and the period of their stay.
XVI. Read the following excerpts from documents you may come across in your business activity.
20th May, 20... the twentieth of May, 20...
читается May 20, 20... May the twentieth, 20...
III.
наименование организации (или фамилия должностного лица);
номер дома, название улицы;
название города (с указанием почтового района или штата);
Dear Sirs,
Re: (читается: regarding) Order No. ... for Working Drawings
About: Contract No. 2535/45
Re.
Например, нельзя писать we shan't, we don't, it can't, it won't, we'll, etc., а следует писать: we shall not, we do not, it cannot, it will not, we shall (will), etc.
все слова в заголовках (кроме артиклей, предлогов и союзов), включая сокращения;
слова, обозначающие государственную и национальную принадлежность (Russian, English, French, etc.);
названия организаций, фирм, отделов, контор и т.д.;
географические названия;
названия месяцев и дней недели;
слова во вступительных обращениях;
первое слово в заключительной формуле вежливости;
Yours faithfully [jo:z TeiGfali]
n , c „ С уважением
Respectfully yours
VII.
VIII.
