The universal principles

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted unanimously by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948, recognizes the integral role that transparent and open elections play in ensuring the fundamental and universal right to democratic participatory government. All election observers, regardless of their own nation’s political system and election process, are bound together in their task by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 21:

1. Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his / her country, directly or through freely chosen representatives.

2. Everyone has the right of equal access to public service in his country.

3. The will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government; this will shall be expressed in periodic and genuine elections which shall be by universal and equal suffrage and shall be held by secret ballot or by equivalent free voting procedures.

The role that periodic, free and genuine elections play in ensuring respect for political rights is also enshrined in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights.

Decatylen® Throat lozenges. Bacteriolytic and antimycotic with a broad spectrum of activity.

Properties. The highly bactericidal and fungistatic agent, dequalinium chloride, has a rapid effect even in high dilutions, on organisms causing mixed infections of the mouth and pharynx. The spectrum of activity of this local chemotherapeutic agent is very wide and includes grarm and gram- bacteria and cocci as well as fungi and spirochaetes. Even bacterial strains which are resistant to antibiotics are eliminated. The added dibucaine hydrochloride produces mild local an­aesthesia, which relieves the painful symptoms accompanying mouth and throat infections.

Indications. Painful infections of the mouth and throat.

Anginous infections: Angina catarrhalis, as adjuvant in angina lacunaris and Plaut-Vincent's angina.

Catarrhal infections: Pharyngitis, laryngitis.

Inflammations of the mucous membrane and gums: Gingivitis, ulcerative stomatitis, aphthous stomatitis. Candidiasis of the buccopharyngeal cavity.

Post-operative application following tonsillectomy and dental extractions, to promote smooth healing. Prophylaxis in times of increased infections.

Dosage. Adults and children: Allow 1 lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2 hours. After the inflammatory symptoms have subsided, suck 1 lozenge every 4 hours.

Contraindications. None known.

Side affects. Side effects and undesirable accom­panying symptoms have not been observed.

Interactions with other drugs. None known.

Tolerance. Decatylen lozenges are very histotropic. They cause neither irritation nor allergy. The mucous membranes remain moist, which promotes the healing process. As the active compound is hardly absorbed, no repercussions on the internal organs, blood or central nervous system need be feared. Likewise teratogenicity need not be dreaded. Dequalinium chloride does not affect the intestinal flora

Special features. As Decatylen does not cause the development of resistant organisms, it can be administered repeatedly with equal therapeutic success.

Клексан. (Clexane)

Міжнародна назва: еноксапарин (enoxaparin).

Основні фізико-хімічні властивості: безбарвний або блідо-жовтий, прозорий розчин.

Форма випуску: розчин для ін’єкцій.

Показання для застосування:

• профілактика венозного тромбозу і емболії (venous thromboembolic disease) при ортопедичних або загально-хірургічних операціях;

• профілактика венозних промбоемболічних ускладнень у терапевтичних хворих, які перебувають на ліжковому режимі лікування у зв’язку з гострими захворюваннями (серцева недостатність, дихальна недостатність, тяжкий інфекційний процес, ревматичні захворювання).

Спосіб застосування: еноксапарин слід вводити підшкірно (subcutaneous) та внутрішньовенно. Еноксапарин не дозволяється вводити внутрішньом’язово.

Побічна дія: Можливе виникнення кровоточивості; розвиток місцевих або загальних алергічних реакцій.

Взаємодія з іншими лікарськими засобами: У зв’язку з підвищеним ризиком виникнення кровотечі не слід застосовувати клексан, за винятком суворої необхідності, разом з такими препаратами, як ацетилсаліцилова кислота та її похідні.

Умови зберігання: зберігати в недоступному для дітей місці при температурі не вище 25⁰С.
