S c r a p e r s. Scrapers are now so widely user in mines for loading cars and transporting ore or waste for short distance, are the chief means of reducing the coast of mining by reducing the output of ore per man. Time studies have shown an output of from 15 to 40 tons per hour per miner on contract work. The success of the scrapers in iron mines led to their use in the other mines, where modifications in design have been introduced to adapt the scrapers to the particular conditions present.
The capacity of scraper varies with the type of scraper, the physical characteristics of the material handled – whether fine or lumpy, dry or sticky, light or heavy – the average rope speed and the limitations of space imposed by conditions in the mine. The box scraper has the greatest capacity for its width of any type of scraper. It is especial suitable for mine material such as sand, gravel, cement, screened coal and crushed stone. The hoe type is better suited to coarse, lumpy material. Other things being equal, a large scraper working at low speed is to be preferred to a small scraper working at high speed for the same output. The larger scraper has greater weight and will clean up material to better advantage.

DRILLING RIG СБШ-250-МНА-32
Drilling Rig is designed for drilling blast holes using cone drill bit with a diameter 243-269 mm, to the depth of 33 m in open cast. It drills vertical and inclined holes. The rig is suitable for drilling vertical and inclined holes (angle -15 and 30 degrees) both in monolith and in cracked dry rock and ore of hardness f= 12-18.
The Rig is self-propelled maneuvering jumbo drill with individual drive of every crawler track.
Drive of rotation of drilling rods is performed from electric motor of direct current.
The construction of the rig provides with the maximal convenience of maintenance.
The main and auxiliary operations of the drilling process are mechanized and automated, the efficient system of wet dust-suppression excludes the possibility of pollution of environment.
The Rig is controlled from the cab. Air conditioner in the cab provides with comfortable conditions of operator’s labour.
