Main transport documents.
Bill of lading - is receipt from the shipowners, giving details of the shipment in question and the conditions under which they accept it; -is the legal title to the consignment, and can be used to transfer the right of ownership to the goods.
Air waybill is like a B/L in come ways, but is not a document of title: in other words^ it cannot be used to pass on the right of ownership to the goods.
Delivery order- a document from the owner, or holder, of the goods requesting the release of goods held under warrant
Dock warrant, warehouse warrant - are receipts issued for cargo deposited at dock warehouses
Tally - the record or list of cargo loaded or discharged; it is checked by a tally clerk, therefore to tally means to be correct.
