The Lake District Youth Hostels
The beauty of the Lake District, England's largest National Park, tempts visitors whatever the weather or time of year. Walk or climb in the breathtaking scenery which inspired the poets Wordsworth and Coleridge. Try watersports on Windermere or Coniston Water, or simply wander round the picturesque villages and market towns.
You can explore the area using the Youth Hostel Association's shuttle bus, a door-to-door service that carries you and your backpack to some of the best parts of the Lake District.
With free pick-up from Windermere Railway Station, the shuttle bus takes care of you from the moment you arrive! For more information on this and booking hostels in the Lake District, contact Ambleforth Youth Hostel on 01594 32304.
