24.Student's scientific activities and research at ktu

I am a student of the Krivoy Rog Technical University. The university comprises 9 full-time departments:Mountain, Mekhaniko-machine-building ,Build), electrical Engineering , Geologo-ecological) Information technologies () Economic () Metallurgical () Transport.

For period from 1922 to 2008 more than 65000 specialists geared-up in the walls of university. Aspirantura prepares scientific-pedagogical shots for to 24 specialities, and doktorantura - for 8. Work 3 specialized scientists of council of defence of doctoral and candidate's dissertations for to 10 specialities. Using considerable scientific potential, in 1991 an university became the initiator of creation of Academy of mountain sciences of Ukraine. Creation of Academy of mountain sciences enabled more effectively to connect an educational process with scientific activity of academic structures and departments, to prepare specialists which would answer modern requirements. Work is instrumental in the improvement of practical preparation of students 7 branches of producing departments on modern enterprises and organizations of city where under the direction of highly skilled specialists students execute laboratory works, meet with the newest technologies, machines, aggregates, study forms and methods of management labour collectives.

The scientists and students of university execute the considerable volume of scientific researches on actual directions of development of economy of Ukraine, including: improvement of technology of booty of ores by underground and opened methods, developments of methods of more complete extraction of useful components at enriching of ore raw material, modernization of technologies and organization of construction-works, optimizations of management and automation of production processes, in particular, on the basis of modern information technologies. Dynamic skilled potential, developed research and financial bases provided KTU one of leading places among the state technical universities of Ukraine. Due to a fruitful collaboration with family educational establishments of foreignness the Krivorozhskiy technical university is provided by education at level world the acknowledged universities.

25 Rest and Recreation

Recreation or fun is the use of time in a manner designed for therapeutic refreshment of one's body or mind. While leisure is more likely a form of entertainment or rest, recreation is active for the participant but in a refreshing and diverting manner. As people in the world's wealthier regions lead increasingly sedentary life styles, the need for recreation has increased. The rise of so called active vacations exemplifies this.

As for me the best rest is a journey at the seaside. Most to me and my family likes to rest in Evpatoria. When on vacations in Evpatoria use the possibility to get acquainted with the town of twenty five centuries which is rich in historic and cultural monuments.

While having a walk around the town you can visit: Evpatoria regional museum,Ruins of Kerkinitida fortress,Juma-Jami Mosque - one of the most interesting monuments of the Medieval Crimean architecture,St.Nicolas Cathedral , Karaite kenaces - a monument of the later Medieval period,Municipal Theater after A.S.Pushkin.

The most favorite place for stroll among holiday-makers and town-dwellers is the quay after M.Gorkiy - one of the most beautiful places of the town. Behind a low parapet the see is seen and a wide line of lovely beaches stretches out.

Gorki Quay faces the Central Park named after Frunze, which is the biggest park of Evpatoria. You can spend a good time and have a good rest in this park. There are an open cinema hall, an open stage, a dance pavilion in the park, as well as playgrounds and attractions for children

There are no such nature paints is on the Southern cost of Crimea, but recreational industry even surpasses the one of the Southern Coast. The most popular Crimean festival KaZantip is help under Evpatoria in Popovka village. People from around CIS gather here in August and fright local dwellers with their loud music and non-ordinary habits.

Only in Evpatoria on the Solnishko (Sun) Beach is held a unique recreation complex with a disco for 1500 persons, modern dance pavilion, Hi-End sound and light, a restaurant, a caf?, water attractions, game center and a camping. Youth Cultural Festival called "Sun Island' is held here. Youth actions are always there. This island draws young people of different interests.

In 2005 a new aquapark called Aquaparkos was open close to Solnishko recreation center. It takes only 15 minutes to get to this aquapark from Paradise Hotel.

But first of all recreation in Evpatoria is famous for its ecology and remarkable wide sand beaches with a flat bottom.

While recreating yourself in Evpatoria you can visit not only its nearest outskirts but any Crimean place as well. Take advantage of excursion programs: one-day tours around Crimea and one-day tours around Sebastopol.
