1. Bring the V belt pulley of the motor into exact alignment with the V belt pulley of the separator.

2. Apply a little grease or castor oil to the thread of screws C29 and put the screws into the holes in the bowl body.

3. Put gravity disc C3 with 72 mm hole diameter on the bowl hood.

4. From time to time screw out the drain screw some turns and draw an oil sample from the worm gear housing.

5. Clean nozzle C15 and channels C15A in the bowl body – see illustration on page 300-4.

6. Unscrew the small lock ring clockwise (tool V2) and exchange the gravity disc.

7. Screw out screws C26 and lift off spring support C25.

8. Insert the spindle in the tap, push on the slide and lock it with the slotted pin.

9. Measure the distance between surface ‘a’ of the paring disc and the upper plane of the height adjusting rings (‘h’ in the sketch).

10. Screw on the deflector anti-clockwise.

11. Push on the worm and lock it with the round nut.

12. Heat the ball bearing in oil and slip it over the spindle.

13. Fit the intermediate washer, screw on the round nut and secure it with the lock washer.

14. Screw out screws DA8 and lift the bowl spindle with spring casing straight up from the frame.

15. Fasten the disc of the tool to the nave with three of the screws of the coupling pulley.

16. Pull the conveyor pulley out of the frame together with worm wheel shaft, protecting cover and ball bearing.

17. Drive the pin out of stop ring E14.

18. Fasten packing with glue.

19. Check the ball bearings for defects.

20. Always place the packing ring with one of its holes right in front of the oil groove in the protecting cover.

21. For safety check also channels and valves in bowl body and operating slide.

22. Supply water shortly through hose 3.

23. Knock carefully on the board right above the ring, first on one side then on the other.

24. Turn the board around successively and drive the ring into the groove as evenly as possible.
