Theme 9       Bladder cancer, kidney cancer

 

Background

Against the background of a significant overall increase in cancer incidence and growth illnesses of bladder cancer. In Ukraine in 2000 RSM was 9.6 per 100 000 population. Mortality up to 1 year - 33.6%, 5-yr survival - 38%. Special treatment covered only 61.6% patients. An important pages at Noah problem is the low effectiveness of treatment because of late address and detection. One reason for this situation may be insufficiency of knowledge in doctors of another specialities.

In Ukraine in 2000 with kidney cancer was 8.0 per 100 000 population. Death t ness was 4.3 per 100,000 population. This mortality up to 1 year and la glass 37%, and 5-year survival - 37.7. One reason for this situation may be insufficient knowledge questions doctors of various specialties. Knowing of pathology and rational use of medical diagnostic equipment to significantly improve the situation.

 

Overall objective: to be able to diagnose and treat bladder tumors, ureter, kidney cancer

 

Specific goals

Be able to:

1. On the basis of complaints, anamnesis, objective research, to identify the basis of syndromes or tumors of the bladder, kidney, ureter, put the previous dia g noz.

2. Appoint additional examination methods and evaluate their data

3. Conduct a differential diagnosis, to put the final diagnosis.

4. Appoint treatment

5. To carry out rehabilitation and preventive measures
