Условные придаточные предложения

Различают три типа сложноподчинённых условных предложений:

I тип- говорящий рассматривает условия какреальные действия,

относящиеся к настоящему, прошедшему и будущемувремени.

II тип - говорящий рассматривает условия какнереальные,маловероятные

действия, относящиеся к настоящемуилибудущемувремени.

III тип - говорящий рассматривает условия какнереальные,невыполненные

действия, относящиеся к прошедшемувремени.

В русском языке нереальныеусловия (IIиIIIтипы), относящиеся к настоящему, прошедшему или будущему времени выражаются одинаково, т.е.:

прошедшее время глагола + частица бы

Например:

Если бы погода была хорошей (сегодня, вчера, завтра), мы бы пошли гулять.

В английском же языке условия, относящиеся к настоящему (будущему) или прошедшему времени выражаются соответствующими глагольными формами.

Пр.вр.	If the weather was fine, we went for a walk. Если погода была хорошей, мы ходили гулять.		If the weather had been fine (yesterday), we should have gone for a walk. Если бы вчера погода была хорошей, мы бы сходили погулять. Условная часть предложения: ThePastPerfect. Главное предложение: The Future Perfect in the Past.
Н.вр.	If the weather is fine, we go for a walk. Если погода хорошая, мы ходим гулять.	If the weather were fine (today or tomorrow), we should go for a walk. Если бы погода была хорошей (сегодня или завтра), мы бы пошли гулять. Условная часть предложения: The Past Indefinite (were – для всех лиц); Главное предложение: The Future Indefinite in the Past
Б.вр	If the weather is fine we shall go for a walk. Если погода будет хорошей, мы пойдем гулять. В условной части предложения будущее время не применяется! Вместо него используется настоящее время.

X. Прочитайте предложения, определите, к какому типу придаточных условных предложений они относятся. Предложения переведите:

1. If dimensional losses exceeded the specified tolerance limits the working life of an engineering component was over. 2. If we used the so-called principle of staging in our steam turbine it would increase its efficiency. 3. If we want to manufacture products with optimal quality we are to use a combination of organizational and highly technological methods. 4. If it had not been for semiconductor components and LSI technology we could not have had PC. 5. If useful work were performed at each stage the kinetic energy of steam would be used much more fully. 6. If the evolution of the Internet continues personal computers will become as common as the television and the telephone in the household. 7. If the USSR had not constructed Mir, the first continuously inhabited long-term research station in space, we would not have had the ISS. 8. If you need information on some questions you may use web browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera or others. 9. If there had been specific standard for testing or measuring a materials wear resistance it would have been easier to conduct tests for specific applications. 10. If water flows from the outer circumference towards the centre of runner the turbine is called a radial flow one. 11. If computers used vacuum tubes and electric relays as their electronic elements they would be the size of a large room and consume much power.

XI. Основываясь на времени сказуемого главного предложения, поставьте глагол в скобках в нужное время, и переведите предложения:

XII. Переведите придаточную часть предложений на английский язык:
