Imagine you are working full-time as a schoolteacher, but secretly want to write articles or to create ideas for advertising. You need more creativity in your life. What do you think? What should a teacher do to embrace his or her creative potential?

Task 1

Read, translate and comment on the following quotations:

Task 2

Julia Cameron in her book ‘The Artist’s Way’ offers to inspire confidence, to deal with self-doubt and to help you embrace your latent creative potential. The author prescribes a daily practice of “Morning Pages”, that involves writing three sides of A4 on waking, and a weekly practice of “Artist’s Dates” — adventures to nourish your social and fill your creative well. The date could be a visit to an art gallery to see an exhibition, a trip to the beach, a photography class — anything that takes you beyond your daily routine. J. Cameron suggests treating yourself as ‘a precious object’, allowing yourself to explore your own interests, and to have fun.
