Bandage of Desault’s
Is very difficult bandage and it is applied if necessary immobilizations of the upper extremity by its pressing to a thorax. Before applying of a bandage it is recommended to examine a field of an axillary trough to powder its Talcum and to enclose a wadded pillow for the prevention of a maceration and for adsorption of sweat. The pillow is fixed by a coil of bandage or simply keeps within without special bracing. Character of initial coils is defined by that the bandage should as immobilization, and to sustain an extremity. The first circular coil is spent from a back through an axillary trough of an able-bodied arm on a thorax, bending around and pressing it to a thorax then the bandage transits the defective arm on a back, through an axillary field, is output obliquely on a forward surface of a thorax on a brachium of the defective arm.
