Such adjustable temperature control devices for thermostats are employed in diverse fields of modern technology, e.g. to control the circulation of cooling medium in internal combustion engines, to regulate the temperature of water of boilers and hot water storage systems, and to control the temperature of living quarters, assembly halts, and the like. In most of these devices a bimetallic element is conventionally employed as a temperature responsive component which effects the opening or closing of contacts to the heating or cooling units by deflection of the bimetallic element. In these devices a small permanent magnet is sometimes incorporated to stabilize operation for in the absence of such a magnet, the slow deflection of the bimetallic element causes arcing as the contacts close.

The magnet is used to cause rapid opening or closing of the contacts during the last stages of deflection. Thus, the operation of the bimetallic temperature responsive component is not dependent upon the presence of a magnet. It is an object of the present invention to provide an adjustable temperature responsive control device in which magnetic elements are employed as the temperature responsive component.

(2)

The present invention relates to a controller for a permanent magnet field motor that has a first rotor and a second rotor concentrically provided around a rotation shaft and a phase changing device for changing an angle of relative displacement in a circumferential direction between the first rotor and the second rotor and that is provided as a power source for driving driven wheels of an all-wheel-drive vehicle having main driving wheels and driven wheels.

(3)

Brief description of the drawings

FIG.1 is a cross-sectional diagram illustrating a motor and corresponds to a cross-sectional diagram taken in the direction of arrows A-A shown in FIG. 2.

FIG. 2 is a diagram which illustrates a rotor unit shown in FIG. 1 and is taken from an axial direction. FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective diagram illustrating the rotor unit shown in FIG. 2.

FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective diagram illustrating an inner circumferential side rotor shown in FIG. 2.

FIG. 5 is a primary-part enlarged diagram illustrating a strengthening phase state of the rotor unit. FIG. 6 is a primary-part enlarged diagram illustrating a weakening phase state of the rotor unit.

(4)

Detailed description of the preferred embodiments

A motor is an embodiment described hereinafter is provided in a four-wheel drive vehicle configured so that one of the front and rear pairs of wheels serves as a pair of main driving wheels and is driven by an internal combustion engine and/or a motor, and that the other of the front and rear pairs of wheels serves as a pair of driven wheels and is driven by this motor. Incidentally, the four-wheel drive vehicle performs running by appropriating selecting, according to vehicular running conditions, one of two kinds of the following modes, that is, a four-wheel drive mode, in which the vehicle performs running by driving the main driving wheels and the driven wheels, and a two-wheel drive mode in which the vehicle performs running by driving only the main driving wheels. Incidentally, the vehicle can achieve stable and powerful running by simultaneously driving the four wheels, as compared with running performed in the two-wheel drive mode. Thus, especially in the case of rapid acceleration, the four-wheel drive mode is selected. Further, in the case of running on an ice road surface, the fourwheel drive mode is selected.

This invention relates to gas burners and has for its object to provide an improved gas burner which is adapted to produce a laminar or flat flame and is suitable for use in burning gaseous fuels having different flame speeds. (ЦЕЛЬ)

According to the invention there is provided a gas burner comprising a burner chamber having a flame port in the wall thereof, a partitioning arranged within the chamber to subdivide the interior of the chamber into separate components, the partitioning co-operating with the flame port so that the said compartments communicate with different sections of the flame port respectively, and means whereby

42

gas may be supplied to the compartments, the burner being arranged so that gas sullies to different sections of the flame port are at different pressures with the higher pressure gas approaching the port in converging streams, the gas issuing from the port being spread into a lamina and burning with a flat flame with at least part of the base of the flame being supplied by gas issuing through a section of the port fed with gas at lower pressure. (ТЕХНИЧЕСКИЕ ЗАДАЧИ И СРЕДСТВА В САМОМ ОБЩЕМ ВИДЕ)

In the burner of the present invention, the higher pressure gas normally issues from the flame port at relatively high velocity and burns to form the bulk of the flame, including the upper part thereof. The lower pressure gas issues from the flame port at relatively low velocity and burns to form at least part of the base of the flame. Flame provided by the low velocity gas prevents the flame of the high velocity gas from lifting off and being extinguished. The flame thus remains stable when the burner is used to burn any one of different fuel gases having a wide range of flame speed. (КОНКРЕТИЗАЦИЯ ТЕХНИЧЕСКИХ СРЕДСТВ)

FIGS. 8a to 8c depict an embodiment of the applicator will be put into production. The dimensions as given in the drawings are in millimeters and may serve as one example, other dimensions are possible.

FIG. 8a shows an applicator tip 801, which can be mounted to a container 802. As described above the container may hold a volume for a single treatment, such that the volume contained may be in the range between 0.5 ml to 5 ml.

The applicator tip 801 may be slipped onto the tube shaped outlet of the container, wherein the flexibility of the material will provide a sufficient tight mounting. The tip comprises an orifice 803, which is nearly hidden by surrounding spikes 804. The spikes 804 are arranged around and close to the orifice 803.

In this embodiment the spikes are all identical and of simple cone shape. The spikes 804 protrude from a plate formed at the end of the applicator tip having the orifice 803 nearly in its centre. The plate at the end of the applicator tip is bevelled with regard to the longitudinal axis – see dotted line in FIG. 8b – such that people using the applicator tip will hold applicator at a corresponding angle to the tissue surface to be treated when applying the adhesive.

FIG. 8b depicts a side view on the applicator tip 801 mounted on the container 802, such that the applicator tip is stuck on the tube shaped outlet of the container. As indicated in the drawing the spikes have a length of 2 mm. Basically, the spikes may have a length of in the range of 0.5 mm to 10 mm,

43

preferably in the range of 1 mm to 3 mm, wherein the spikes not necessarily must have the same length.

For example, in one embodiment a first group of spikes may have a first length, wherein the spikes are designed to maintain a predefined distance between the orifice and the tissue surface, for example, spikes as illustrated in FIG. 6b. Accordingly the length of these spikes defines the distance, wherein it is assumed that any deformation due to bending upon pressure of the applicator tip is negligible. This group of spikes preferably is arranged in front of the orifice or in a way such that dispensed adhesive will not contact a spike. A second group of spikes may be longer and of design easily bending, for example, a design as illustrated in FIG. 6a. As the function of the second group of spikes may be to mix the dispensed adhesive over a wider area, this group of spikes is arranged behind the orifice such that the spikes contact the dispensed adhesive. When applying the adhesive to the tissue surface, the first group of spikes will maintain the minimum distance between orifice 803 and the tissue surface, wherein it is assumed that spikes of the second group bend under the pressure applied to the applicator tip. This actually approximates the actual use, because a person using said applicator tip will be aware of the function of the second group spikes and will correspondingly perform a suitable pressure on the applicator tip.
