II. Structure and activity:
Council of Managers is a high body of the IMF. Council meets annual. Vote of state depends of the subscription in Fund financial resources and reflect rating of state in the world economy (trade, currency reserve).
Executive Council fulfils current job in the Head-Quarter in Washington. E.C. consists of 24 managers. Biggest quota and biggest vote belong to 5 states: USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Japan. They assign managers. Three managers represent China, Russia and Saudi Arabia.
Policy of the Executive Council defines by recommendations of two ministries committees:
Contemporary Committee of the managers’ Council on International Monetary System problems;
Joining ministry committee of World Bank and International Monetary Fund (Committee on Development).
IMF has permanent representations in Paris, Geneva and New-York.

1. International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
2. International Maritime Organization (IMO).
3. Universal Postal Union (UPU).
4. World Tourism Organization (WTO).
The brief content of the lecture
ICAO was formed in 1947, after ratification Convention, adopted in 1944 in Chicago. Aims of the ICAO are provision of security development of the Civil Aviation. ICAO elaborated system of international standards and rules:
- Elaboration of principles and techniques of international air lines;
- Development of international air transportation;
- Provision by security, regular, effective air transportation;
- Giving possibilities for foundation own international air transport enterprises;
- Provision of the ICAO’s members by equal rights;
- Assistance to the flying security on international airlines;
- Encouragement of construction and exploitation of airlines;
- Creation of airlines, airports and air navigation equipments.
188 states are members of the ICAO.
ICAO adopted some agreements about international air transportation: Geneva Convention (1948) – recognition rights on airlines; Rome Convention (1952) – compensation on air accidents and so on.
