to pronounce – произносить
Communication is a two-way street. We listen and we speak. Listening well is as important as speaking clearly. So, remembering to speak clearly is a good start. Speak slowly. Pronounce each word carefully, one sentence at a time. Good listeners listen actively. They try to understand everything they hear. They make sure they understand. They are not afraid to ask questions. Asking questions is a sign that you are listening carefully. Checking details is a form of active listening. It is especially important when taking messages for others. Getting the message right is quicker and easier than calling back later for details.

Your score:
0 – 8
You are a terrible listener! You need to work on your listening skills. Perhaps you need to slow down and make time to listen to people or you may need to pay more attention to what people are saying and react to what they tell you. You will probably find that your conversations are more successful if you do this.
9 – 16
You are an average listener. With a little extra effort you can become a really good listener. Why not try using body language a bit more when you are talking? Make sure you keep eye contact with the person you are talking to and always remember to smile, people always respond well to a smile.
17 – 24
Well done! You are an expert listener! Your listening skills are well developed and you always pay attention to what other people are saying.
