Communication is a two-way street. We listen and we speak. Listening well is as important as speaking clearly. So, remembering to speak clearly is a good start. Speak slowly. Pronounce each word carefully, one sentence at a time. Good listeners listen actively. They try to understand everything they hear. They make sure they understand.
