Comment on the following statement.

Some people say that the most important thing for the teacher is to be knowledgeable about their subject matter. However, others think that a good teacher is the one who makes learning fun for students.

What are the most important qualities for a teacher?

Первый вариант с отмеченными проблемами (лексика и грамматика не всегда соответствуют уровню В2, который необходим для получения высшего балла):

No doubt, people supporting another point of view have their reasons for it. They point out that making fun at the lesson is absolutely necessary. Firstly, it is a natural way of behaviour for the younger generation. Secondly, emotions are certain to help them remember the material better. There is something in what they say, but an everlasting holiday gives the students the wrong idea of studying. Too much entertainment at school can lead to problems in universities where the approach to teaching is different.

Вариант заключения:

Taking these points into consideration, I would like to say that the benefits from working with a knowledgeable teacher are much more numerous than the ones brought by the system where fun prevails. Needless to say, teacher’s professionalism is the cornerstone of student’s success.
