Завдання №6. Прочитайте текст, дайте йому назву та складіть план у вигляді 10-ти питань різних типів (загальне, спеціальне, розділове, альтернативне).

Since the times when princes ruled Kyiv it has been the centre of book printing in Slavic lands. The year 1615 was one of the most favourable years for education and science in Ukraine. The first printing house appeared in Kyiv-Pechers'k monastery. Here they started printing all kinds of books: ABC books, calendars, books on history, poems, dictionaries, religious literature.

In the same year, a brotherhood was founded by the Ukrainian nobility, Cossacks and priests. Its goal was to protect Orthodox religion and educa­tion. A rich noble Galshka Gulevichivna donated a house in Podil to the brotherhood where a school was founded. Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi joined the brotherhood together with Zaporiz'ka Sich. He made donations to the school. When he was dying, he made a will according to which all his wealth was left to schools, monasteries and the brotherhood. He was buried in the Brotherhood Monastery near the school. The brotherhood school differed from other schools as it gave a very good education.

In 1632 Kyiv Metropolitan Petro Mohyla united Kyiv Lavra school (from Lavra Monastery) founded by him and the brotherhood school. Thus Kyiv Collegium appeared, which soon became Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. It became the first university in Eastern Europe.
