1. Переведите предложения на русский язык, обращая внимание на инфинитив.

1. We have got one problem to solve today.

2. The person to solve the problem must be familiar with differential calculus.

3. This is the set of equations to be solved to understand the problem as a whole

5. There are some laws to follow in this solution.

6. To introduce computational physics is the subject of our studies.

10. To provide experimental evidence for the theoretical ideas experimentalists make more and more complicated experiments.

2.Переведите предложения на русский язык, назовите номера предложений, в которых модальный глагол mustвыражает предположение и вероятность.

1. This phenomenon must be described in detail.

2. I must have met that man somewhere.

3. Some new considerations must be involved into this study.

4. This value must have been included into the above considerations.

5. These phenomena must be distinguished carefully.

6. The object of the experiment is to test the results obtained.

3.Перепишите сначала все предложения, в которых модальный глагол may выражает разрешение, а за тем предложения, в которых он выражает предположение. Переведите предложения на русский язык.

4.Переведите на русский язык предложения, в которых глаголы should,would и were выступают в форме сослагательного наклонения.

4. You really should take part in it; there is no reason to reject this suggestion.

5. Did they mean that they were interested in the subject?

6. You should do this work immediately.

7. Our scientific adviser insists that we should take part in the work of the conference to be held in Petersburg in June.

8. He proposes that the paper should consist of three parts, the last one discussing the experimental results obtained.

9. We must work hard as it is demanded that we should present the paper on time.

10. I wish I would take part in the conference.
