selected on the Reacting Flow, Diluted Species Settings window.
Note
Enter values or expressions for the Mobility variable um,c (SI unit: s·mol /kg) and
Charge number variable zc (unitless).
Porous Matrix Properties
See the Free and Porous Media Flow Interface for how to set up the Porosity
and Permeability.
Tip
Under Effective mass transport parameters a correction factor (Bruggeman, No Correction or User defined) to the mass transport parameters (defined in the Transport Properties node) can be applied for the porous domain. Species diffusivities and mobilities are automatically adjusted by the porous media corrections.
Initial Values
The Initial Values node allows the initial value or guess for the variables and species, nominally the concentration, to be solved for to be specified. This can serve as the an initial condition for a transient simulation.
D O M A I N S E L E C T I O N
From the Selection list, choose the domains to define an initial value.
