Mass Source
The Mass Source feature adds a mass source Qm, which appears on the right-hand side of Equation 10-2 (the equation for porosity).

From the Selection list, choose the domains to define a mass source.

Enter a value or expression for the Source term Qm (SI unit: kg/(m3·s)).
Initial Values
The Initial Values feature adds an initial value for the pressure that can serve as an initial condition for a transient simulation or as an initial guess for a nonlinear solver.
D O M A I N S E L E C T I O N
From the Selection list, choose the domains to define an initial value.
I N I T I A L V A L U E S
Enter a value or expression for the initial value of the Pressure p (SI unit: Pa). The default value is 0 Pa.
Boundary Conditions for the Darcy’s Law Interface
The Darcy’s Law Interface has several boundary conditions available. The following are available on exterior boundaries:
•Pressure (also available for edges in 3D models)
•Mass Flux (also available for edges (3D) and points (2D and 3D))
•Inflow Boundary
•Symmetry
•No Flow (the default boundary condition)
The relevant interface condition at interior boundaries is continuity:
