These models for the interphase drag force Fdrag are available and

When the dispersed phase corresponds to solid particles, Gidaspow,

 

Schiller-Naumann, and Hadamard-Rybczynzki models are available for

Select a Drag modelGidaspow, Schiller-Naumann, Hadamard-Rybczynzki, or User defined. If User defined is selected, enter a value or expression for the Drag force coefficient SI unit: kg·s2/m5).

S O L I D P R E S S U R E M O D E L

This section is available when solving for dispersed solid particles.

The solid pressure models the particle spread due to collisions and friction

between the solid particles. Details of the implemented models are

Select a Solid pressure model ps (SI unit: N/m3)—No solid pressure (the default),

Gidaspow-Ettehadieh, Gidaspow, Ettehadieh, or User defined. If User defined is selected, enter values or expressions in the table for each coordinate based on space dimension.

Initial Values

The Initial Values node adds initial values for the velocity field, continuous phase, the velocity field, dispersed phase, pressure, and volume fraction, dispersed phase that can serve as an initial condition for a transient simulation or as an initial guess for a nonlinear solver.
